How to Install an eSIM: A Step-by-Step Guide

Most modern phones support eSIM. Installation is quick and you only do it once per plan.

Step 1 — Buy and receive your QR code

After checkout you receive a QR code by email and in your account dashboard.

Step 2 — Scan the code

Open Settings → Mobile data → Add eSIM and scan the QR code. On iPhone it is Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM.

Step 3 — Turn on data roaming for the eSIM

Data roaming must be on for the travel eSIM line so it can connect to local networks. Your home line stays unaffected.
