You need a stable internet connection to install eSIM
Prepare the QR code received by email after purchasing eSIM
Your device must not be locked to a single carrier
Step-by-step instructions for Apple devices
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone.
Select Cellular (or Mobile Data).
Tap Add eSIM or Add Data Plan.
Select Use QR Code and scan the QR code received by email.
Tap Continue, then Add Data Plan.
Give the plan a label (e.g., "BlueSky eSIM - Japan") and tap Done.
Step-by-step instructions for Android devices (Samsung, Google Pixel and others)
Go to Settings on your Android device.
Select Connections, Network & internet or SIM cards.
Tap SIM card manager or SIM cards.
Select Add mobile plan or Add eSIM.
Select Scan carrier QR code and scan the QR code from email.
Confirm downloading the eSIM profile and wait for activation.
On Samsung devices the path may slightly differ: Settings > Connections > SIM card manager > Add mobile plan. On some models you need to enable the eSIM option first.
How to activate eSIM after arriving at your destination
Go to Settings > Cellular and enable Data Roaming for the eSIM plan.
Select BlueSky eSIM eSIM plan as default line for cellular data.
Turn off Wi-Fi to make sure your phone connects via cellular network.
Your eSIM should now be working. If not, restart your phone.

iPhone: Settings > Cellular > Select eSIM plan > Remove eSIM Plan
